What this estimate is for
Use it to identify whether your components need a compact deck box, a standard square box, or a larger format. It totals simple component volumes, then reserves space for sorting, tolerances, air, and an insert.
Method
Card footprint 횞 stack height, simple dice/token/board volumes, then a user-controlled allowance. The output is an equivalent interior cube, not a manufacturer specification.
Example
A sleeved 180-card game with dice, tokens, and a folded board can need much more room than the component silhouettes suggest. Start at 30% allowance, then test a physical pack-out.
Limits
Rulebooks, player boards, unusual miniatures, and insert geometry need their own dimensions. Never use this as a substitute for a factory structural drawing.
