List each face value as it appears on the die. Repeated values are separate physical faces and therefore carry more probability than a value printed once. The tool evaluates the entered target rule against that actual face list.
Use the result in a design decision
A die with two success symbols and four non-success faces has a different success chance from a die with six distinct labels. Use the output to test whether a custom icon distribution communicates the intended risk to players.
