What the checker compares
Each statement and payment is assessed separately. A completed item is early, on the due date, or late by a visible number of calendar days. A blank actual date becomes missing only after its entered due date has passed as of the selected review date.
Use dates from your records
Populate the due-date columns from the signed agreement, amendment, or an agreed reporting schedule. Populate actual dates from receipt and payment evidence. The tool never invents a quarterly cadence or a number of days after period end.
Calendar days, not business days
The difference is a straight calendar-day count. If the agreement adjusts weekends, holidays, receipt methods, grace periods, or cure periods, calculate the operative due date first and enter that exact date in the CSV.
Limits
A late flag is a recordkeeping prompt, not a legal conclusion. Waivers, notices, disputed delivery dates, banking delays, and local law may matter. Retain the source evidence and obtain qualified advice when necessary.
