Method
Divides the unfolded board into the entered panel grid, reports folded footprint and stacked board thickness, then checks the entered box footprint.
Assumptions and limits
Enter measured values or your own documented assumptions. This planning tool does not replace a printer, manufacturer, fulfillment partner, or shipping quote.

Translate panel geometry into a packed board
Width and height describe the flat board; columns and rows describe the entered fold pattern; thickness estimates the stacked board after folds. Use millimetres consistently and compare the folded footprint with the actual box interior, not its advertised exterior.
Use the result in a design decision
A four-panel board may look compact in a flat layout yet be too thick beside a card tray. Use the output to ask the printer for score direction and fold tolerance, then test an assembled sample before fixing the box or insert.
